WHIS Update – so much has happened since we held WHISCumbria17 but let’s start with a recap.
It started with a tweet! The idea was to bring our communities together to inspire, innovate and share knowledge to improve healthcare. Explanatory note on WHIS.

The date was the 9th & 10th March 2016 in Carlisle. We had over 300 delegates and 30 speakers. We reached an incredible 23.7 million twitter impressions over the two days. It was a fantastic event and everyone got involved in the discussions. The key as always is delivery at any of these events and we’ve seen impact locally. We’ve had the establishment of the Global Village of Mental Health and also the Global Village Ability Network.
