How to Manage Autism Calmly over Christmas

When a family get to find out that their child has autism, it’s incredibly hard for them to access all the information about the condition that they need to be able to help their child thrive and flourish. Autism itself isn’t a tragedy, lots of people with autism lead happy, productive and successful lives. The real tragedy is the lack of availability of information and support for parents and our wider community about how to ensure that children thrive and can overcome their anxieties and sensory issues which can otherwise lead to challenging behaviour and extreme distress for the child and their whole family. It took me 10 to 15 years to piece together all this vital knowledge, and just as long to understand why Christmas in particular can be so hard for our children. That’s why I’ve put together this online video course to give parents a toolbox of strategies and an action plan for a Happy Christmas for the whole family. The course costs £25.00, but there are some early bird discounts available if you contact Yvonne at [email protected]
