The theme of the conference is ‘Broadening Horizons’ – we want to encourage social enterprises to push the boundaries of the traditional social enterprise market to see how they can engage with and be visible in new sectors.
As the social enterprise sector continues to grow, we will look at new opportunities for social enterprise to further expand and diversify in times of significant political and social change. The conference will focus on ways we can all broaden our horizons and connect with new markets, including a special panel session using examples of social enterprise activities from across a wide range of sectors.
The main day of the conference (6th June) is open to all, including those working in/with social enterprises, or those wanting to know more about the expanding social enterprise sector and opportunities to work with social enterprises. Keynote sessions include reflections from renowned speaker Nigel Kershaw OBE of The Big Issue Group, and also an ‘In conversation with…’ session with Professor John Denham, Director of Centre for English Identity and Politics at University of Winchester and former cabinet minister.
