WORLD HEUTAGOGY DAY 26th September 2017

‘HEUTAGOGY, MEANING MAKING & WELLBEING.
The team at The Monastery Manchester is proud to be the ‘spiritual home’ of the World Health Innovation Summit (WHIS) here in Manchester (WHISManchester)

This relationship is an integral part of the ‘Life’ programme (LifeSkills Information For Everyone) recently launched and the in-house capability network (Unlike Minds) Not surprisingly then, WHISManchester’s chosen specialism is Information in Health and Social Care.

We’re delighted to announce that on 26th of September we will be hosting and orchestrating World Heutagogy Day.

Heutagogy is the study of self-determined learning applying a holistic approach to personal experience. This event gives WHIS access to the world’s experts in how we each make meaning from information to inform our choices.

We are delighted that not only is World Heutagogy Day focusing on the relationship between meaning making and wellbeing but we are thrilled that it’s chair Fred Garnett (also an Unlike Mind) will be hosting and orchestrating the event.

Our in-house team will be managing a virtual congress of experts in universities, hospitals and communities around the world. We have great expectations that this will launch a whole new approach to helping people make more sense of the information which governs their lives in healthcare, housing, finance, legal matters etc, and more importantly, how we each respond to it.
Watch this space.
