On this International Day of the Midwife, Alliance of Bulgarian midwives, wish you a wonderful day and stand by the idea of making that day different. Today midwives are celebrating and mothers are writing to their midwives, the motto is :I and my midwife. In Bulgaria midwives are celebrating in different way. The prosperity of a nation is tied fundamentally to the health and well-being of its mothers and children! Every woman, child, family deserves qualified care given by midwives. I believe in partnership, because I think that one of the most magic moments is when you are together with woman in labor, when you became one, that is the core of the midwifery, because the normal birth is something beautiful and really depends from the good partnership. The good care and the good partnership starts before we are even born! We believe that together we can change the system and make the world a better place, for all of us, step by step, day by day, but we should start from today, to have a better tomorrow, because midwives give lives, midwives saves lives and the world needs them, today more than ever. Because we believe that every family deserves qualified care given by midlife, in June this year we are starting practical midwifery, education seminars and keep the tradition to make academy for midwives and put the good partnership in the centre of the care!
